Space is an entity that always expands. It is a captivating place that you can explore further. Previously, life was known to exist only in the earth, our planet. But findings made out of NASA in 1986 declared the existence of a few types of fossils of tiny living things in Mars. It is also amazing to know more into the celestial bodies. The more distant these celestial bodies like stars and galaxies, the faster the recession velocity. Direct observations prove without doubt that space is expanding further. It implies that every point of space still continue to expand. Due to the cumulative effect of this phenomenon of space expansion, all celestial bodies go away from one another and from the earth. It is a discreet entity and is neither continuous nor absolute. Scientists apply the term ‘fabric of space’ to denote its grainy characteristics. It has energy and constantly forming particles and anti-particles within. Due to the particle motion, the fabric of space is partial but at the moment it is beleived it can not be outsourced either. The entity interacts well with matter and energy and is curved to accommodate enormous bodies like the Sun. This is one of the discoveries of Einstein’s theory of relativity. Curvature of space is a certainty. This bend is a fundamental property of the universe which needs clarification further for properly educating the readers regarding its vibrant features.

Astronomy is one of the oldest branches of science associating the study of celestial bodies. We acquire information concerning these terrestrial bodies by means of electromagnetic radiation, which forms a signified part of the visible spectrum. Modern concepts disclose many other strange objects like quasars, pulsars, radio galaxies etc. The interpretations and findings provide detailed elucidation on the physical theories relating to black holes and things like neutron stars. The section became outsourced into observational and theoretical branches named Observational astronomy deals with data collection from observations of astronomical objects, thereby analyzing by basic principles of physics. Theoretical astronomy is focussed on developing and describing analytical models that describe astronomical objects and related phenomena. During the 20th century, physical Cosmology came out with advanced concepts of Big Bang theory and heavily supported by astronomy and physics testimonies, like Hubble’s law, cosmological microwave background radiation etc. It is possible with the space telescopes to enable measurements within the electromagnetic spectrum parts, blocked by the atmosphere.

Space Apprises

After the major disaster of the vehicle break-up, the pilot of the spacecraft ‘SpaceShipTwo’ landed earth’s surface via parachute. It is one of the recent news on spaceflight. The mishap killed its co-pilot Michael Alsbury. The reason behind the accident was the early unlocking of the re-entry system by the co-pilot. The news was announced by National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) team, this Tuesday (July 28, 2015).

European Space Agency (ESA) successfully achieved the mission of a rocket landing on a comet. The mission named ‘Rosetta’, aimed at landing on the comet for the first time in history which became an extraordinary achievement that has ever been achieved. The comet lander ‘Philae’ is still functional since it sends data untimely, at least at irregular intervals. One of the two transmitters of the lander has stopped working and the other one is currently functioning. European Space Agency researchers are unable to establish proper communication with the lander.
